أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Transliteration. Amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir

Meaning. We have reached the evening and at this very time the whole kingdom belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, without any partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is Able to do all things.

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

Transliteration. Allahumma bika amsayna, wa bika asbahna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namutu, wa ilaykal-masir

Meaning. O Allah, by Your leave we have reached the evening and by Your leave we have reached the morning, by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our return.

Transliteration. Allahumma ma amsa bi min ni'matin aw bi-ahadin min khalqika faminka wahdaka la sharika lak, falakal-hamdu wa lakash-shukr

Meaning. O Allah, whatever blessing has come to me or to any of Your creation this evening is from You alone, without partner. So for You is all praise and unto You all thanks.

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

Transliteration. Allahu la ilaha illa huwal-hayyul-qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard. Man dhal-ladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnih. Ya'lamu ma bayna aydihim wa ma khalfahum. Wa la yuhituna bi-shay'im-min 'ilmihi illa bima sha'. Wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samawati wal-ard. Wa la ya'uduhu hifdhuhuma wa huwal-'aliyyul-'adhim

Meaning. Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

Quran 2:255 (Ayat al-Kursi)

Whoever recites this in the morning will be protected until evening, and whoever recites it in the evening will be protected until morning.

Whoever says this one hundred times in the morning and evening will have all his sins forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea.

Meaning. In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
